HUS Art Farm is a unique Auckland Wedding Venue and accommodation located only 30 minutes from downtown.

The primary ceremony space is the Pond Paddock which has a purpose built 6 x 6 meter dock that sits right on the water with a decoration arch and a scenic forest back drop. Guests stand or sit on an all weather pebble surface during the ceremony in the paddock on the water edge.

If the weather is not cooperating a marquee (not included) can be set up in the paddock behind the gallery space.  We have planned a wet option in front of the gallery space with paving, wet shelter and a mobile wedding arch.

For winter the only spot for the ceremony is up at the barn as the grounds are typically to wet.

The purpose built gallery space is 10 x 12 meters and due to it being all white it is the perfect blank canvas for a planner.

There are 2 lighting options. Dimmable continuous LED strips on the ceiling and/or bight white tube lighting which is not dimmable.  

Full height white sheers that are continuous around all 4 walls.

Large barn doors that open out to the front and rear for grand entrances.

TEA ROOM. This room can be used for a photo booth, gift table space or lounge space. This is also the only wheel chair access full bathroom. There is a side entrance for catering if need be.

Covered concrete patio out back connects to the bar and gallery.



After the ceremony while the guests are relaxing at the gallery you can wonder around the farm and take photos.  We have quaint bridges, flowing water, ponds with lillys, dramatic island, native bush, long grass and yes even horses by special arrangement.  Many of our professional photos were taken in autumn which has a beautiful warm glow due to the changing leaves.


The Bar downstairs which connects to the Gallery was once horse stables and the character still remains. We have great lighting, plenty of cupboard and mirrored storage, bar fridge, wash-up station.  The stable doors open up to a covered outdoor seating area which has great indoor outdoor flow.  We have also installed radiant heater for the bar areas.


The accomodation is all up stairs and sleeps 11 people in 6 bedrooms with 4 ensuites.  Large open plan kitchen, open plan lounge and dining that opens up onto a covered deck.  READ MORE>


An all season carpark is located in the bottom paddock below the venue. It can accomodate approximately 45 cars.  The top carpark accommodates around 10 cars.  There is to be no car parking on the street please.


  • All the above is included in each package as we just supply the venue and grounds.

  • Access to forage for natural floral and fauna. Please put back in the bush for composing please. This is also in keeping with farm and stops plastics going into land fill.

  • Mowed grounds and wedding ceremony area.

  • Secured grounds.


  • All 3rd party suppliers such as caterers for food and beverage, decoration and table and chairs.

  • Commercial waste and recycling. We can only accomodate domestic. Unless it fits in our bins it needs to be taken away please.

  • Yes you can organise a practice session when no guests are checked in.

  • Yes you can use your own catering for beverage, food, entertainment, tables and chairs.

  • Yes you can decorate.

  • You or your cater has to take away rubbish and recycling that does not fit in our large domestic bins.

  • No parking on the street.

  • Once music starts all external doors and windows except the BAR stable doors have to close.

  • We can be flexible with check in and check out if we do not have other guests back to back.

  • No fireworks due to stock and horses.

  • Parking is available in our parking lot however no street parking.

  • Yes marquees are allowed for larger parties.

  • Only accomodation guests are allowed upstairs due to the wear and tear on wooden floors.

  • Wheel chair access bathroom downstairs only.

  • Yes you can have food trucks and bean bags on the lawn.
